10 of the best chalets in Morzine

You could be pampered in your own private spa, take a dip in the pool, sip Champagne in a hot tub looking out over the mountains or cosy-up in front of the fireplace after a day on the ski slopes. Here are 10 of our best places to stay in Morzine.

Chalet Griffonner

The views are astounding from this gorgeous Morzine chalet on the sunny side of the valley, and almost all of the bedrooms enjoy a spectacular view of the slopes and village. The views are best enjoyed from the outdoor balcony, which has a dining area, or the master suite that takes over the top floor. There is a dedicated spa inside the chalet with a sauna, massage area, shower and access to the outdoor hot tub. The open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen have the wow factor and there is a cinema room, plus an extra TV room that doubles as an extra bedroom.

Lodge Des Nants

More lavish than some luxury hotels, this really is one of the best chalets in Morzine and it sprawls across five floors. The second floor houses an indoor swimming pool. In fact, it houses an entire spa. Perfect after a day on the slopes, the spa incorporates a treatment room for massages, a spacious Hammam and a traditional outdoor log-barrel sauna. Alongside seven bedrooms, Lodge des Nants’ other floors feature a large roof terrace with a hot tub overlooking Morzine and all the way up to Avoriaz. There’s also a bar, pool table and fireplace-framing sofas, plus your own swanky cinema room, so your whole group can enjoy popcorn-powered movie nights.

The Old Macaroni

The Old Macaroni is bursting with character and has (in our opinion) some of the best views over Morzine, including the church. It is one of the best places to watch the fireworks - just slide the lounge’s bi-fold doors right back. You can even switch on the piano and have a backing soundtrack, as it plays itself! You’ll find the hot tub on a spectacular wooden deck area, looking out over the village of Morzine and the mountains beyond, so you can enjoy a soak and drink in those views. The barrel sauna also has picture-perfect views when inside it, and there is a spa room, cinema room and cool bunk room inside the property, too.

Chalet 46˚

This converted farmhouse in rural surroundings in Morzine has been designed with fun outdoor evenings in mind. On the spacious outdoor deck, you’ll find a hot tub, along with a large dining area, outdoor bar, fire pit and pizza oven. With a dining table large enough for everyone and comfy seating around the fire, you can linger outside well into the evening. Inside, the chalet has five bedrooms, an open-plan dining area and kitchen, and fantastic features including a sauna and home cinema room.

Chalet Xanadu

Chalet Xanadu is a brand-new six-bedroom chalet in Morzine, perfect for a family holiday or group stay. Its luxury boho-chic interior design gives it a light and homely feel, heightened by the sunshine filtering through the windows all day long. Big wraparound balconies and a big decking area also make the most of the sunny position and the incredible views over the Morzine valley.

The Bungo

The Bungo is a very special chalet. Set in one of the sunniest locations in Morzine, this family-friendly chalet has its own heated outdoor swimming pool in the garden. It’s an easy walk into town and, during winter, The Bungo is a catered ski chalet in Morzine with a private chef, team of hosts and our on-call 24-hour resort driver service. As well as a heated pool, the garden has a hot tub and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven. There’s a gym room, a bar with its own beer pump and a cosy TV room, too.

Doors also lead out to a hot tub. The top floor is an open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen, with a beautiful fireplace for cosy evenings.

Chalet Mont Des Anges

Chalet Mont Des Anges is extraordinary! The huge outdoor deck has an infinity pool with unobstructed views over the valley and mountains beyond. There’s also a hot tub, outdoor kitchen and firepit area on the deck, plus doors leading into a swanky bar that wouldn’t look out of place in a London hotel. In winter, Chalet Mont Des Anges is hosted, so our team will serve you breakfast, afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks. Our 24-hour on-call resort driver service is also included.
