Spartan Winter Trail for Kids

9-10 December 2023
After enjoying great success last year, the Spartan Winter Trail for kids returns to Morzine. Children aged between 4-14 can take part in this epic obstacle course, with options to suit all ages and abilities. Younger kids will enjoy running, jumping, climbing and crawling, while the older ones have the option to up the course length and difficulty, including the option to compete in timed races against others. A great way to get outdoors, have fun and increase resilience!

Morzine Enchanted Village

For two magical weeks in December, Morzine Enchanted Village comes to delight adults and children alike. The village is alive with activity, with parades, light shows, brass bands, firework displays, face painting, kids’ workshops and more! If you’re lucky, you might even spot a certain Mr Claus…

World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships
Les Portes du Soleil
27 January – 3 February 2024
The Portes du Soleil ski area is to host a major
event this winter, the world’s fourth-biggest skiing competition involving 6 disciplines and 45 nations. The races will take place in the resorts of Châtel, Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz and Saint Jean d’Aulps, an ambitious format and a first for this region set to become the stage of sporting excellence for 7 whole
days.

Rock the Pistes Festival
Les Portes du Soleil
17-24 March 2024
Can you imagine a more perfect setting for a festival than the slopes of the Portes du Soleil ski area? Well, each March, Rock the Pistes arrives in the area and offers exactly that! Holidaymakers are invited to use their snow boots as dancing shoes and enjoy incredible live music in a spectacular setting. Even better, the gigs are free, you just need to purchase a lift pass to reach the venue. The past line-up for Rock The Pistes has included Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Klaxons and Babyshambles.

Kingdom of the Marmots

30 March – 1 April 2024
With spring, comes the Kingdom of the Marmots (or Royaume des Marmots, as it’s known in French). Three days of kid-friendly fun, aimed at those aged from 18 months to 12-years-old. Throughout the town centre you’ll find a plethora of free activities from music shows to themed workshops, inflatable games and more!

Champion’s Ski Race
Les Portes du Soleil
1 April 2024
End the season on a high with the Portes Du Soleil champion’s ski race. Taking place on the Nyon plateau, this large ski race invites kids from ski schools, clubs or simply on holiday, to ski under the supervision of some of the very best skiers from the Portes Du Soleil area. Children will get the chance to meet, chat, get autographs and be inspired to continue on their skiing journeys!
