If you are a big group of friends, colleagues or families travelling together, a couple of chalets or apartments very close to each other can be the perfect option. It gives you your own space, often with one bigger property hosting evening get-togethers!

We manage a collection of chalets across Morzine and Les Gets in the French Alps. In this guide, we’re sharing our favourite chalet options for a big group ski holiday. These options are next door or very close to each other, and many feature open-plan entertaining areas and hot tubs.

Every group staying with Hunter Chalets has access to our complimentary concierge service, so we can arrange your lift passes to be ready and waiting in your chalet, book ski lessons and arrange for ski equipment to be fitted in your chalet on arrival – so you don’t have to queue in one of the hire shops in town. We can also arrange meals to be delivered, mid-week changeovers and the chance to add our on-call 24-hour driver service.

Ski chalets for 16 people

Apartment Aviemore & Apartment Caly View in Les Gets

Apartment Aviemore and Apartment Caly View are next door to each other in the same building. Just above the centre of Les Gets, they share the same ski-in/ski-out location on the Chavannes slopes when snow conditions allow. Apartment Aviemore is the largest, with four bedrooms, an elegant dining area and a balcony with a hot tub. 

Next door, Apartment Caly View is a cosy bolthole with two bedrooms and a small balcony. This apartment combination is ideal for extended families, as two rooms have single bunk beds that can accommodate kids or adults.

Chalet 46˚ & Apartment 6˚ in Morzine

Chalet 46˚ and Apartment 6˚ are in the same building, with the front doors next to each other. Chalet 46˚ is the largest space, meticulously converted from a traditional French farmhouse. Its original exposed beams add a rustic touch to its modern features. It has a cosy lounge area with a wood-burning stove, plus a dining area and modern kitchen with a beer pump on the island. The spa treatment room lets you pamper your group at an extra cost. Speak to our concierge team to arrange in-chalet treatments.

Chalet Joy & Le Tournesol in Morzine

• Le Tournesol – sleeps 8

Chalet Joy and Le Tournesol are in the same apartment building, and their front doors are just a few steps away from each other. They both have an off-piste ski-in/ski-out location within 20 metres depending on snowfall and skiing ability. The centre of Morzine is just two minutes away by car. 

Chalet Joy is a four-bedroom duplex penthouse with a large, vaulted living space and floor-to-ceiling windows. It has a cinema room with a PlayStation 5 console and a hot tub on the balcony, giving you mountain views as you soak. Le Tournesol is a one-level apartment next door. It also has a hot tub on the balcony, and a small east-facing terrace with views towards Morzine.

Chalet Blanc & Chalet Lorne in Morzine

Chalet Blanc is steps away from Chalet Lorne on the same road in Morzine. They both feature similar layouts, with open-plan living and dining areas for large groups to relax. Each one has an expansive outdoor decking area, and Chalet Lorne has a hot tub and barbecue area. 

For cosy evenings in, both chalets have a cinema room. As for location, it’s just a flat, easy 10-minute stroll into town via the suspension bridge. Don’t forget, we also offer a 24-hour chauffeur service to take you anywhere you’d like to go if you’d like to add this to your booking.

Chalet Écliptique & Chalet Genevieve in Morzine

It takes around 30 seconds to walk between Chalet Écliptique and Chalet Genevieve, and together they have ample space for groups of up to 31. Chalet Écliptique features one of the largest gardens in Morzine, and it has terraced decks with a barbecue and unobstructed mountain views. Inside, the open-plan lounge is a showstopper. Wood cathedral ceilings make the space expansive, while the central wood-burning fireplace surrounded by sofas gives you a cosy nook to unwind. 

Chalet Genevieve is a homely retreat that sleeps up to 19 guests. It has a cinema room, an open-plan living area and kitchen, plus a hot tub with fantastic views over Pleney. If you’re travelling with young kids, the chalet comes equipped with stairgates and toys to keep adventurous toddlers safe and busy.

Four Twenty L’Elé, Chalet Blanc & Chalet Lorne in Morzine

For large ski groups of up to 32, we recommend booking Four Twenty L’Elé with Chalet Blanc and Chalet Lorne. They are just over the road from each other and it takes around one minute to walk between them.

Four Twenty L’Elé is a large open-plan converted stable with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. It has two kitchens, plus two dining and living areas, allowing plenty of room for everyone to mingle and relax. Glass doors open out onto a balcony with views of the Parc des Dérêches opposite. 

The flexible space can be shut off to make two apartments, depending on the size of your group. One of the best features is the circular wood-burning stove that takes pride of place in the open-plan lounge. It’s the perfect spot to warm up with friends after a busy day on the slopes. 

Chalet Lorne sits just in front of Chalet Blanc. They both feature similar layouts, with open-plan living and dining areas, plus an expansive outdoor decking area. The only major difference is that Chalet Lorne has a hot tub. As for location, it’s just a flat, easy 10-minute stroll into town via the suspension bridge from these properties.

Lodge Des Nants, Chalet 46˚ & Apartment 6˚ in Morzine

• Lodge Des Nants – sleeps 15+1

Lodge Des Nants is one of the best chalets in Morzine and it is located next door to Chalet 46˚ & Apartment 6˚. This seven-bedroom chalet has an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a spa treatment room and a sauna to soothe tired muscles after skiing. 

The top level is open-plan, featuring a pool table, a fully stocked bar and sofas surrounding a show-stopping central fireplace. It opens out onto a large deck with a hot tub and views down the Morzine valley and up to Avoriaz. 

During the ski season, both Chalet 46˚ and Lodge Des Nants are catered chalets with staff and a private chef. We can split your group across the chalets for dining and then you can choose which chalet to get together in for drinks. Both chalets are hosted, so our staff can be moved to one of these chalets to ensure your group is well looked after with hosted drinks.
