Designed as a private and peaceful sanctuary in the mountains, Chalet Tosca has a homely and welcoming feel the moment you step through the door. Perched on the sun-drenched Chavannes side of the valley, it offers spectacular views over Mont Chéry.

This luxurious chalet in Les Gets is hidden away above the village and spans four levels. On level 1 is a cinema room for cosy movie nights, a sauna and shower, plus two en-suite bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has a king-sized bed and sliding doors leading out to the large garden and hot tub.

A circular, polished cement staircase leads you up through the full height of the chalet, and, on level 2, you’ll find the entrance hall to Chalet Tosca, which leads out to the chalet’s heated driveway with parking for four cars. There is a ski and boot room by the front door with heated boot and glove warmers, a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, plus a bunk room with four single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have access to the garden. Level 2 is also home to a separate WC and a sofa bedroom with a trundle bed.  

Follow the concrete and glass-walled staircase up to level 3: the open-plan lounge and kitchen. You’ll find light flooding in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, framing Mont Chéry like a moving painting. You can sink into the velvety sofas in front of the log-burner and watch the skiers carve down the slopes in the distance, or, in summer, lie in a hammock on the balcony and see paragliders twirling in the sky.  The living room has two distinct seating areas: one to maximise the views and another nook for watching TV. The modern kitchen overlooks the mountain panorama, as does the dining table, which can seat 14 people. If you need extra seating, there are four bar stools at the large kitchen island. 

Level 4 is where you’ll find a whole floor dedicated to the master suite. The king-sized bed is positioned to make the most of the astounding views over Mt Chéry through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This private sanctuary has an egg-shaped bathtub in the bedroom, so that you can soak in the bubbles overlooking the mountains, plus an en-suite shower room. The bedroom is also air-conditioned in summer – a rare perk here in the mountains.

Wellness and summer holidays

Unlike many chalets in the mountains, Chalet Tosca has a large, flat garden, which is truly special in summer – though soaking in the hot tub and admiring those views is recommended in all seasons! Pair the hot tub with the chalet’s sauna and shower, and days spent in the fresh mountain air, and you have the makings of a memorable wellness holiday. We can also arrange for our spa therapist to visit at an extra cost.

In the summer, challenge friends and family to a game of pétanque on your private course, enjoy a barbecue, and make the most of the firepit and sundowner seating area until the stars come out. The location is perfect, too – a 10 to 15-minute walk to Lac des Ecoles, a swimming lake home to the WIBIT inflatable assault course, a water flume and a splash play area for little kids. This area is also home to the incredible Alta Lumina light show experience, a magical night walk through the woods and a must if you’re staying at Chalet Tosca.

Location on the Chavannes slope

Chalet Tosca is a four-minute drive from the centre of Les Gets, where you can catch the Chavannes Express Chair Lift, Téléski du Stade or Mont-Chéry ski lift. There’s a great selection of restaurants here, from Michelin-rated cuisine to casual dining.

From Chalet Tosca, it’s around a six-minute walk to the Bruyère piste, which leads onto the home run down to the Chavannes gondola and chairlift. Alternatively, it is a three-minute drive up the hill to Télésiège des Folliets du Golf to start your day’s skiing.

The chalet’s location on the Chavannes slope makes it easy to reach Snowpark Les Gets, Les Mappys and Boarder Cross Les Gets. You can also ski over to Morzine and explore two ski resorts in one holiday using a Les Gets-Morzine ski pass. Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil, a network of 12 linked resorts, so you can also ski between France and Switzerland in one day with a Portes du Soleil lift pass!

During winter, your group may want to add our on-call 24-hour driver service to your booking at extra cost. Simply call or WhatsApp our exclusive driver service and your group can go wherever you like in Morzine or Les Gets, day or night. We can drop you at the ski lifts, pick you up from bars and restaurants or drive you to the local day spa. Our driver service can also take you to the Ardent and Prodains lifts, giving you easy access to high-altitude skiing in Avoriaz, too.
