Les Gets apartments – stunning stays in the mountains
Want a sumptuous ski-holiday base? Or a relaxing bolthole for some summer hiking and biking? In this stylish and family-friendly village, our trio of luxurious Les Gets apartments guarantee a spectacular stay in every season.
Les Gets apartments
Style and more style awaits at Urban Corniche, a 10-person penthouse suite which works for special-occasion trips or joyous family reunions. Take its designer furnishings, for example, or the many unique artworks. You’ll also find space galore: five bedrooms – three of them en suite and the other two boasting adjacent shower rooms – alongside a vast living space with its own bar, huge dining table and grand piano, and then an outdoor hot tub and sauna for relaxing al-fresco evenings. Just out the front door are a host of pistes waiting to be explored by ski and snowboard in winter, or on foot during summer.
Les Gets apartments don’t come any more convenient. By backing right onto the Chavannes slopes, Apartment Aviemore offers prestigious ski-in, ski-out access – and that’s only one of its perks. Summer visitors can hike straight into the slopes, while you’re only a few minutes’ walk from the village’s enchanting centre whatever the time of year. After adventures, you’ll be returning to an especially stylish and cosy bolthole. Sleeping as many as 10, Aviemore includes plush beds and a log fire, plus luxuries from Nespresso machines to extra-posh toiletries. There’s an outdoor hot tub, too, and a sauna shared with the rest of the block.
LE COIN PERDU
As the finishing touches were only being installed in 2020, hardly any guests have yet experienced the full, luxurious updates to this already-exceptional duplex penthouse.
Those new touches include state-of-the-art kitchen and bathroom fixtures, typifying the modern and stylish decor. Also present are several surprises – such as a copper bathtub in the master suite – and amenities which render Le Coin Perdu the perfect party pad. Those include the bar area with its own American pool table, the lounge’s large film projector and the outdoor deck’s hot tub, ready for prosecco-powered nights. Up to 11 guests are welcome, with most groups reassembling each evening to describe their various Les Gets escapades.
Apartments in Morzine
For more options, consider one of our apartments in the nearby village of Morzine.
Winter guests of this pet-friendly Morzine apartment can ski-in and ski-out within as little as 50 metres when snowfall permits – very handy indeed – using a pre-provided GoPro©. Summertime arrivals, meanwhile, are able to use the nearby Pleney gondola for access to signposted routes affording jaw-dropping mountain and valley views. In strolling distance from all of Morzine’s main shops, bars and restaurants, Apartment 6° generally makes for a bright base. Three luxurious bedrooms hug its open-plan living, dining and kitchen space, which contains extensive entertainment options: a full UK Sky TV package with the sports and movie channels, an Xbox, various board games and dozens of DVDs.
Occupying one of Morzine’s most reliably sun-soaked spots, The Bungo has an internal, heated boot room for skiers and boarders, while summer cyclists can request access to a locked shed in which to store their bikes. Its garden – and a trampoline, slide and swing – allow families to relish views of Mont Chéry, as do the private hot tub, dining table and barbecue on an accompanying terrace. Inside, through patio doors, awaits a beautifully finished Morzine apartment with warm, charcoal-hued walls, wood-panelled bedrooms and a modern kitchen. Not to mention our usual luxury touches: White Company toiletries, Nespresso machine and pods, and UK Sky TV access.
APARTMENT DEUX CHEVAUX
As one of the Morzine apartments located nearer to neighbouring village Montriond, this two-bedroom bolthole has a best-of-both-worlds thing going on. It’s closer than most homes to summertime swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding at gorgeous Montriond Lake, yet still just a 15-minute walk from numerous shops and restaurants. Along with convenience points, Deux Chevaux offers scores for coolness. A converted stable, it artfully fuses industrial-style finishes with a cosy log cabin aesthetic, and then throws in spectacular valley views from floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony. Behind, a large open-plan kitchen, diner and living room works particularly well for relaxed family gatherings, or for romantic evenings around the toasty log fire.
