What’s on in Les Gets during summer 2025
Les Gets is hosting some big events this year, including UCI Mountain Bike World Cup and the Pass’Portes du Soleil race. The mountain bike parks will be open, you can take part in tough challenges such as trail running or take part in Bastille Day celebrations. There is so much to do from June to September! What’s on in Les Gets during summer 2025

Bikepark opening
Continuous opening from 13 June – 14 September 2025
Europe’s biggest bike park reopens for summer following a series of one-off weekend openings in late May and early June, giving riders access to almost 130km of marked dirt trails winding through spectacular mountain scenery. There are colour-graded routes to suit all abilities, from first-time riders to competitive enthusiasts, as well as a dedicated kids’ zone for the littlest bikers. Whether you want to practise hitting jumps or fly along thrilling downhill routes, Les Gets is the place to be for a summer of biking adventure.

Alta Lumina
Open throughout summer until 27 September 2025
This is an unmissable experience in Les Gets! Alta Lumina is a magical one-kilometre walk through the forest at night, where you can follow the story of the music maker. This immersive experience combines music and lights to bring the forest to life. It’s a self-guided walk and you can get involved in helping the music maker on his journey.

The Alambike
21-22 June 2025
New to 2024, The Alambike challenges teams of 4 to 8 as they race around the iconic cross-country course from the MTB World Championships, covering as many kilometers as possible. Looping around a 4.5km track, riders will pedal tirelessly to raise donations for two charities in Les Gets. Non-electric and electric mountain bikes are both welcome. In addition to the relay, many other activities take place such as concerts, raffle prizes to be won and a mini race for the little ones. The Alambike is expected to take place in summer 2025.

MTB Pass’Portes du Soleil
27-29 June 2025
This renowned three-day mountain biking event returns to the Alps for 2025. Designed to showcase the best trails in the area, at your own pace and providing local food and beverages along the way! Riders can choose between the 80km classic route or a special off-the-beaten-track course, while there’s also a supervised kids’ trail and a walking route with tastings at local farms. Don’t miss the chance to browse the latest biking gear at the accompanying trade show in Les Gets.

DH Kids Cup
5-6 July 2025
The DH Kids Cup returns to Les Gets this July 5–6, giving young riders aged 7–14 a chance to race like the pros. With practice runs, timed heats, and a festive prize ceremony, it’s an exciting weekend of downhill action in the heart of the Alps.

Bastille Day Celebrations
14 July 2025
Don your most glamorous vintage attire to celebrate France’s national day in style. The residents of Les Gets celebrate this national holiday with as much enthusiasm as the rest of the country. Expect a stunning fireworks display starting around 21:00 local time.

Mechanical Music Museum Fête
19-20 July 2025
This July, Les Gets’ Mechanical Music Museum comes alive for the annual Museum in Celebration event. The festival features free outdoor concerts, live demos, and a spotlight on the famous Limonaire organs. With over 900 fascinating instruments to discover, it’s a magical mix of music, history, and mountain charm for all ages.

The Trail of Les Gets
19-20 July 2025
The Trail of Les Gets is the ideal opportunity to push yourself to the limit in a race while discovering the beauty of Les Gets. Find mountain pasture crossings, ridge paths with a view of the Mont Blanc and paths in the undergrowth. The various events of this 100% trail weekend will be held in a wild, unspoilt and iconic setting of Les Gets, on the slopes of Mont Chéry, and around the mythical Roc d’Enfer.

Cycling week
21-26 July 2025
From July 21 to 26, 2025, Les Gets hosts Cycling Week, a celebration for cycling enthusiasts of all levels. The event features activities such as the Chéry climb for seasoned riders and various family-friendly events. Set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps, it’s an ideal occasion for everyone to embrace the joy of cycling.

Pottery festival
26-27 July 2025
Les Gets will come alive with creativity for the 2025 Pottery Festival. This charming event showcases local and regional ceramic artists with stalls, live demos, and hands-on workshops. It’s a family-friendly weekend full of tradition, art, and mountain village charm — a perfect summer highlight for visitors of all ages.

Festival of the 4 Elements
28 July 2025
The four elements that make up our planet – water, fire, earth and air – will be at the heart of this fun and educational festival. In the program, you will have access to creative and scientific workshops, the discovery of crafts, nature outings and guided tours along with festive activities (concerts, shows, sports activities, fireworks…)

Downhill, XC & Enduro World Cup 2025
21-31 August 2025
Morzine, Les Gets and the Haute-Savoie region are set to host this 10-day World Cup festival from August 21 to 31 2025. It will feature the UCI Cross-country, Downhill, and Enduro disciplines, attracting the world’s top riders to these legendary Alpine trails. Spectators and riders alike can look forward to thrilling racing and an electric atmosphere in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.

Les Gets Golf Club
7 June – 5 October 2025
This 18-hole golf course offers exceptional panoramas facing Mont Blanc and is suitable for both experienced and amateur players. At the heart of the Portes du Soleil, the golf course follows the natural movements of the mountains: each hole was named after a neighbouring mountain.
