10 things to expect when staying in a Morzine chalet

Exclusive use of your Morzine chalet

Enjoy the privacy of having the entire chalet to yourself and your group when you choose to stay with Hunter Chalets.

Chalets close to the lifts

All of our Morzine chalets are within walking distance of the main lifts in the centre of Morzine. There are two seasons in Morzine, summer and winter. During spring and autumn, the people who live in the village take a well-deserved break! If you visit in these shoulder seasons, you may only find one or two restaurants open, and the lifts will be closed. During summer and winter, the lifts are open and Morzine is ready to welcome you!

Flexible dining options

All of our chalets are self-catered in the summer. In the winter, you can choose from a self-catered, catered or a hosted chalet (a cross between the two). Choose your preferred chalet type to see what’s included:

Hosted
Self-catered

A hassle-free breakfast

If you choose a self-catered chalet in Morzine, ask our concierge team to add a bakery order to your booking. We’ll leave fresh croissants and bread on your doorstep each morning!

If you’re staying in a hosted chalet, we’ll prepare a selection of fruits, yoghurts, muesli, cheeses, meats, and pastries, with hosts available to prepare eggs upon request. Alternatively, our catered chalets have a private chef to prepare both a continental and cooked breakfast. See our catered chalets in Morzine page for details of the inclusions.

Afternoon tea

After a day on the slopes, return to freshly-baked cakes or sweet treats prepared by your hosts or chef. Afternoon tea is available in our hosted and catered chalets, and we’ll serve tea and coffee, too. If you’d rather have a glass of wine with your slice of cake, just ask!

Pre-dinner drinks

Make a night in your Morzine chalet… a night out! If you are staying in one of our hosted or catered chalets in winter, our hosts will serve you pre-dinner drinks, including cocktails, Champagne and fine wines included in the price. It’s a relaxed atmosphere and a great way to start a night in (or out).

Housekeeping and luxury toiletries

Book with Hunter Chalets and you’ll find that each chalet in Morzine has complimentary toiletries from The White Company, including body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Just remember to leave the dispensers in the chalet when you leave! If you are staying in one of our hosted or catered chalets, daily housekeeping is included. If you are staying in one of our self-catered chalets, you can add a mid-week clean at extra cost.

24-hour driver service

Our on-call resort driver service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day! Our Hunter Chalets resort driver service is a fleet of vans and drivers for the exclusive use of our guests. You can get picked up and taken to the ski lifts, head up to the Prodains or Ardents lifts to ski in Avoriaz, or explore both Morzine and Les Gets resorts, including the light show: Alta Lumina. The driver service is only available in winter and is included with our hosted and catered chalet bookings. If you are staying in one of our self-catered Morzine chalets, you can add the service to your booking at extra cost.

Concierge service

Book a Morzine chalet with Hunter Chalets and you’ll have access to our dedicated concierge team. They live in resort and can help you arrange ski lessons, airport transfers, ski equipment hire to be delivered to your chalet, spa treatments, and restaurant reservations.

Alpine ambiance

Whether you choose to book a Morzine chalet in winter or summer, you’ll get to discover the beauty of the French Alps. Morzine’s lift network is linked to Les Gets and Avoriaz, and is part of the wider Portes du Soleil region linking 12 alpine resorts. Morzine has a wide choice of bars and restaurants, with a down-to-earth vibe that really suits families and multi-generational groups.
